So I missed last week's outfit plan because of the amazing-ness that was the Superbowl, so you all get a double dose today:)

I felt like keeping the business casual look going...which got a tone of compliments and "why so fancy?" remarks...Can't a girl look nicer some days? Geez!! haha

I kind of don't like this shirt the more and more I wear it. It's too short for my liking, but hey I'm determined to prove I wear everything in my closet!!

Thurs. Feb 7
I have class after work on Thursdays, so I dress as comfortable as possible. Also today we really truly had a English department staff development, so i was a little more casual than normal.

And then browsing blogs Saturday morning I stumbled upon Sarah's blog and her "Take one, Pass it on" wardrobe challenge and decided I had to try it!! Here's how she explains it:
"
The Take One, Pass it On Outfit Remix
Here’s how it works:
This remix can be done for any length of time you like: a week, a month, or more. The best part is that there’s no prep work of picking out a bunch of stuff before you start (which is the main reason I never got around to trying 30×30).
On day one, you pick out an outfit just like you normally would.
The next day, take one item from the first day’s outfit and mix it into a new outfit. Obviously, underwear doesn’t count (plus that’s gross), and neither does something like your wedding ring or your jeans that you wear 3 times a week anyway. But it could be a shirt, a dress, a belt, a necklace…whatever!
You can see where this is going…On day three, you would take a different item from the previous day’s outfit and wear it again in a different way. And so on and so on."
Sat. Feb 9
I decided to use both the challenge and another Friday's Fancy inspiration from Daily Dose of Lou. of mixing layers with a dress...

I still have another day off and will be working on my Master's project, so this is not a look I would normally wear out and I am having dinner with my best friend from high school and she doesn't mind if I'm a bum hahaha so I reused the cardigan.

Cute outfits, as usual! I like the idea of taking one piece from the day before and creating something new with it. I also like how you mixed plaid with stripes in the last outfit. :)
..hahaha I'm still laughing about the "why so dressed up?" comment. I get that at work sometimes and I get so frustrated!
love the idea of a sweater OVER a button down! cute looks!
You did so good at the take one, pass it on challenge! I feel like this would be hard! I might give it a try sometime!
Next time you say you don't have clothes I will punch you! Look at all of these outfits! Of course the ones with the sweaters are my fav...because I am a grandma!
LOVE that first Target top! And all of your looks are so cute :)
I'm so in love with the polka dotted shirt and cardigan. So me. :)
And yay, I love your new blog outlook. ;) Updating the button now too. ;)
xoxo
So many cute outfits! I really love the blouse with the little pleats, and the one in navy with the little polka dots :-)
I love your style - it's classic and clean while still fun. I love finding inspiration from you as I try to wear similar stuff. I think the paisley print/blue sweater look is my favorite!
I freaking love alllll of these outfits! And jealous of your spirit wear looks (if we wear jeans, we have to wear long pants and our "spirit" shirt has a collar and three buttons. totally ugly. No tee shirts. UGH!)
Love stripes and floral. So pretty. Great remixing!
